The educational requirements will not be waived, but certain educational courses might also satisfy the experience requirement.
Licenses will not be issued to anyone who has had a real estate license revoked in any state within the two years prior to the date of their anticipated license application.
Continuing Education Requirements
All real estate licensees need to complete at least 16 hours of approved continuing education courses every two years, with six of these hours being completed within the first year.
Examination Fees
The examination fee is $130.00, and the license fee for a salesperson license is $100.00 and for the broker license is $120.00. Licenses are issued for two year periods and will not be renewed unless the continuing education requirement has been fulfilled. Renewal fees are the same as the original license fees.
